The Weekly Unaided Awareness Chart includes any film more than six weeks from release, registering at least 1% unaided awareness (UA). This metric is highly correlated to opening weekend gross. Early signs of UA more than six weeks out often translate to box office success upon release.
It was a good week for BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE. Overall awareness soared 6 points while interest climbed 1 point thanks to a new trailer drop and series of fun character posters.
This has lifted unaided for the film from 2% last week to 5%, which matches the high from when the first BEETLEJUICE trailer arrived in March.
We also welcome WICKED back to the unaided chart, having crossed the 1% threshold for the first time since late March.
As for the film with the highest unaided of the week, it was a photo finish. Both INSIDE OUT 2 and BAD BOYS FOR LIFE reached 7% unaided awareness, though the edge goes to BAD BOYS, which came out a few decimal points higher.
