A decade ago, you could see a movie in a theater or wait many months to watch it at home. Today, that's not the case. Some films are available only on a streaming service, some are available in theaters and at home on the same day, while those that go exclusively to theaters end up on a streaming service in a matter of weeks, not months. In other words, we have far more options about where we can see a film. Among those interested in seeing each movie, The Quorum poses the increasingly relevant question, "where would you prefer to watch this film?

Groups are in a hierarchy.
A film may belong to multiple groups but will be placed in the one that sits highest in the hierarchy.
For example, SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE qualifies as ANIMATION/FAMILY and DC/MCU, but it is allocated to the ANIMATION/FAMILY group since that group sits higher in the hierarchy.
